Man City 3-0 West Ham: Erling Haaland Breaks Premier League Scoring Record

Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick as Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League with a comfortable 3-0 win over West Ham.

Haaland's treble moved him onto 29 goals for the season, breaking the previous Premier League record set by Alan Shearer and Andy Cole in 1994/95.

The Norwegian striker opened the scoring in the first half with a close-range header from a Kevin De Bruyne cross. He then added two more goals in the second half, both of which came from penalties.

West Ham offered little resistance and rarely threatened to get back into the game. The result leaves them in the relegation zone, while City move two points clear of Arsenal at the top of the table.
